Dress-Up Day
Okay, it's a little scary, the influence you can have over a group of people. I love Star Wars. I guess I convinced my 11th grade class that they, too, love Star Wars. Notice the costumes several decided to wear for Halloween.
And...here's a couple (blurry)pictures of the finished luminaries. I still don't have my camera settings figured out.

Pajama Day
we figured it out in Physics. "Y" finally caught on. I discovered if I can show it to her in mathematical formulas she understands better than words. Whew. Now to figure out which mathematical formulas to use in the future. I love math. I missed my calling.

My little Life Scientist prepares to build her cell
Nucleus (nectarine); nucleolus with ribosomes (caramel with pomegranate seeds)
Adding ribosomes to the endoplasmic reticulum (sour yellow/red candy strips)
Golgi complex (blue/green sour candy strips); proteins (nerds); rough ER
Almost done! Finished product tomorrow. Yummy...we'll eat while watching Star Wars
