This sounds like the beginning of a joke, doesn't it? Ha. Actually, I was noticing how the cluttered, explosiveness of my brain seemed to manifest itself in the number of desks it took me to administer exams this year. I took over four desks in the chapel, two computer screens and had four programs running. Not sure what that was all about!
Cell phone usage is also a problem, so I created "Indie's Cell Phone Hotel." Check-in time is before the exam starts and check-out time is when the exams have been turned in. The kids took this well and handed them over nicely. Not one single complaint. However, had I said, "Please give me your phones," they would have thrown a fit.
And, finally, what better way to celebrate the end of exams than with a potluck? Food solves everything. At least that's the motto of this group of kids.
