Trout season is coming to an end. Tonight is the last night we can go until it starts up again in April. These are the days I missed when I lived in Seattle...crisp, fall evenings...waiting patiently in the streams for your line to go tight, feeling the slight tug that alerts you to the presence of your prey. I love being outside. I love being with my dad. Being outside with my dad, catching trout???? Doesn't get much better. We're going again in a couple of hours. Hopefully we both get our limit so we can have a big fry.
If you look closely, you can see the photographer!!

Our catch of brook trout. The biggest one is mine. It was the last one I caught for the day.
